When we awoke this morning, we were in Paris. After a Metro, a train and a shuttle, we left Charles DeGaullle Airport and ended up in Dublin, Ireland by mid-day. A couple hours later, we were in what seems as far from the city bustle as this couple could get.
A good friend Becky, (who is in love with Ireland), so graciously gave us what is immediately turning out to be excellent guidance.
We're at the Lawcus Farm Guest House in Kilkenny (Cill Chainnigh), Ireland. Mark & Ann Marie have owned the property for about 13 years. As Mark shared, as a team they have totally renovated this 200 year old guest house, bringing the guest house from what we would call a "tear down" to the magical place it has become. The B&B is not only a special place for guests, but also home to their chickens, sheep, horses, and pigs. Joey enjoyed visiting Mark's big workshop. Breakfast was delicious and served in the Greenhouse.
