More walking around...

We've been walking around  and learning about the area some more.   We're having a great time with everything - even some of our challenges speaking and understanding the language.  In an attempt to help ourselves, we had our first French Language lesson with a tutor yesterday afternoon.  So far, so good.

Learning new things about the neighborhood

Checking out the neighborhood. 

We walked a lot today...  Of several things we've found, a couple notables are a good wine store and a Nespresso Boutique. The long and the short of it is that, even if we don't eat, we can have great wine and great coffee. (Don't worry, we're eating - and pretty well at that)

Bonjour!

Yes, we've arrived in Paris and are already having a fabulous time.  Marios & Steve's apartment is great and in a perfect location for getting around. 

The weather is spectacular and we spent our first day walking around enjoying the sights, watching street performers and eating at a nice sidewalk cafe.

Back to Traveling

Hi Everybody -

Yep, we're back to our planned traveling. 

We're currently in New York - on our way to Paris for an extended stay - to include some traveling around Europe. 

This past weekend we had the delightful experience to be at the wedding of our friends Marios & Steve (who are so kind to offer us the use of their Paris apartment for our stay).  Our son, John Ryan, officiated in this great celebration.
