Doolin Ireland

31 August 2013

We stayed at Daly's House B&B in Doolin Ireland.  Doolin is a coastal village in County Clare, Ireland. It is a noted centre for Irish music, which can be enjoyed nightly in its local pubs. We were the recipients of this entertainment at O'Connor Pub down the road a bit from our B&B.

Sarah, the owner's daughter, greeted us - very welcoming

This is George...and petting him is part of the greeting!

Cindy, the owner of a small book shop and gift store, welcomed us with warmth and friendliness.   Chica purchased local yarn from Cindy for future knitting projects.  Ironically, Cindy is originally from New York. She's been in Doolin for over 30 years with her husband and 3 (now grown) children.

This is a view from the window of our room. Awesome....

Susan is the owner of Daly's House B&B.  Susan really makes this place happen.  Se has a quick wit and loves to take care of the guests.  Quite the enjoyable visit with her.
